Valentines Day will never be the same and I will miss you with every beat of my heart for the rest of my life! You once told me you would love to see me with a grandchild and I would be able to see a love like I had never known. It is true, little Jaydyn is like my grandson and I am like his grandma, who is up in Heaven with you! I know that both of you look down and smile every time he laughs, every time he smiles or takes those baby steps. The circle of life is forever turning and love goes on, maybe not in the same way it did, but with hope and grace. The past few days, I have cried more times than I can count, but then a friend sent me a card with the passage from the bible (1 Corinthians 13). This is meaningful because it was the same bible verse that was in our wedding vows: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails ...".
