I still miss you so much and even though it has been 2 1/2 years since you have been gone, sometimes it seems as though it has been forever. Other times it seems only yesterday you were here by my side. So very much has happened and I wonder if you ever look down on what you left behind and if you do, can you feel the pain and loneliness. My heart wants to go on and be happy and I am so afraid that will never happen. You and I had something special that I don't think I will ever find again. You were my best friend and you knew everything about me, the good and the bad and you never judged me. There are few relationships that can withstand the trials and tribulations we withstood in our relationship and stood strong against the wind, against all the obstacles that were thrown at us, and I miss that so much. I have needed you by me so many times to feel your strength and your fearlessness to face the world. Just know that you are sadly missed and will be forever in my heart and soul.
